Summary of credit cards from HSBC
"As a new HSBC Bank Credit Card
customer, you'll benefit from 0% on a transferred balance
for six months and a standard variable rate of 15.9% APR*.
While benefiting from a balance transfer
rate, there is no interest-free period for purchases or
cash withdrawals. The balance transfer also does not benefit
from an interest-free period.
The 0% rate applies to balances transferred
from non HSBC Bank/First Direct credit and store cards within
30 days of entering into your credit card agreement. The
rate will last for six months from the date of the balance
transfer. At the end of this time, the rate will go up to
the rate then applicable to the standard balance. Balance
transfers must not cause the credit limit applicable to
the account to be exceeded.
The minimum repayment in respect of
each statement is £5.00 or 3% of the Standard Balance
(whichever is the higher) plus in relation to each balance
transfer, £5.00 or 3% of the transfer balance (including
interest), whichever is the higher, or the whole balance
if it is less than £5.00. Applicants must be aged
18 or over. Written quotations are available on request.
A cash advance handling fee of 1.5% (minimum of £1.50)
is payable. Our credit is subject to status."

is 14.9%.
